Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Polytechnic College – Yanam

Admissions to the diploma courses are generally made based on merit and reservation norms prescribed by the Government of Puducherry. The detailed schedule is notified every year through official admission brochures and press releases.
- Watch for admission notification issued by Directorate of Higher & Technical Education / PIPMATE.
- Download / obtain the application form and read the instructions carefully.
- Fill in the application with correct personal, academic and community details.
- Attach photocopies of required certificates and recent passport size photographs.
- Submit the filled-in application within the prescribed last date.
- Attend counselling / admission session on the scheduled date with original certificates.
- Confirm the allotted branch and complete fee payment at the college office.
- Reservation of seats is as per Government of Puducherry norms.
- Candidates must satisfy age, qualification and domicile conditions as notified.
- Original certificates will be verified at the time of admission and returned as per rules.
- Pass in SSLC / 10th standard or equivalent examination recognised by the Board of Secondary Education.
- Minimum aggregate marks and subject requirements as per Government / AICTE norms.
- Age limit and relaxation as notified by the Directorate of Higher & Technical Education, Puducherry.
- SSLC / 10th Mark Sheet and Transfer Certificate (TC).
- Community / Caste certificate (if applicable) issued by competent authority.
- Residence / Nativity certificate, if required for claiming local candidature.
- Recent passport size photographs.
- Any other documents mentioned in the admission notification.
